Looking to welcome new alpaca enthusiasts into the herd!
We remember fondly the day back in 1996 when a small newspaper ad introduced us to the wonderful, woolly world of alpacas. And as this chapter of our lives comes to a close, we would love to be able to pass on our enthusiasm for these animals to a new generation of alpaca farmers.
Alpacas are the perfect animals for small land owners, as just one acre of land can house 5-8 animals. We are selling off our entire herd of alpacas including Dams, crias, maidens, studs and weanlings making it the perfect opportunity for anyone interested in venturing into the exciting world of alpaca farming. A heavy heart

It's with a very heavy heart that Wilderness Alpacas is announcing its decision to close down our business this coming fall.
After 15 years as part of the Canadian alpaca community, we are no longer able to keep up with the demands of the farm. During the last year, Barry has unfortunately faced several serious health challenges, and the physical and financial toll of his illness has been heavy. We have grown so fond of our alpacas, but the best decision for both our family and the herd is to find new homes for our stock. So over the coming months we are selling off our entire herd of studs, bred females, bred females with crias at side, maidens and weanlings.
We invite you to look through our alpaca stock and please contact us if you are interested in adding any of our quality genetics to your herd.
